Please leave.

I have done soccer for YEARS.
let me defend my sport
1. mentally challenging? try flipping yourself upside down while your mind is telling you DONT DO IT! now tell me how that isnt at all mental. oh, right, mental blocks. those aren’t mentally challenging either. Im pretty sure every aspect of it is mentally challenging, memorizing choreography is actually very challenging.
2. difficult? oh my lawrd because kicking a ball was so hard for me to do (btw i gained a bit of muscle doing soccer ok but since i started  cheer i’ve been gaining visible muscle weight.) YES, soccer was exhausting because running around a field kicking a ball over and over again will become exhausting. Doing a two minute and thirty second routine.. lets think… “NO sport can be exhausting after 2 minutes, maybe after 20…” some say. well i think that just proves my point. most sports aren’t tiring after only 2.5 minutes, but cheerleading is VERY. just proves its difficulty level. oh and also, my PE teacher was talking about how apparently they found that worlds level cheerleaders have, on average, the same amount of muscle that olympic soccer players do. sooo what now? awk.
3. Yeah it sucks when your opponent slams into your body :’(( it also sucks when your flyer falls on your face unintentionally (remember, stunting takes 2-5 people… one persons hand is a centimeter off? the stunt will fall.) i have been beaten by the ball, hit by players, and had many injuries from soccer. yes it is challenging. but cheerleading? i cant compare the two. they are SO different. oh and by the way, soccer for half my life, cheer for 3 years…. I think i have a bit more knowledge and a bit less ignorance than that person does.

also just adding on to the above
1. There’s no analyzing or decision making? How about when your flyer starts falling?! You have to analyze how to catch her and get her back up in the stunt in the quickest way possible. You also have to decide if something is falling down how to save it!
2. Us cheerleaders have so much stamina, I know I can last 90 minutes on a soccer game because I played for a while. Let’s see if you can last throughout our 2 and a half minutes though, I don’t think you can.
3. All I am going to say is that having someone fall from above your head onto you around 30 times in 2 hours is contact.
I hate when people say they have their splits yet their lean back like a foot (Taken with GifBoom)

Twins on top of Twins ;)

I WISH MY TWIN SISTER WOULD DO THIS WITH ME.
My team is more than a team, they are my second family. If don’t know what I would do without them. Although we had some cheerleaders leave, we are as strong as we ever where and we have some serious butt kicking to do this year;)
Long legs don’t care.
